I am happy to present the fourteenth issue of our publication series „MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AWARENESS‟.

Management responsibility requirements are important in implementing ISO 9001:2008 QMS, so you will find an article on this.

The article „Intent and Impact of ISO 26000‟ tries to answer the questions – (i) what does social responsibility mean for me? (ii) What are my expectations for ISO 26000 or how I think it could make an impact?

"World Energy Congress‟ is a triennial event organized by the World Energy Council (WEC). The 21st World Energy Congress was organized in Montreal (Canada) from 12 to 16 September 2010. Details of this event, you will see in a write-up. There is also an awareness article on introduction to energy management.

The Environment Ministry has issued a notification banning the use of plastics for packaging Gutka and other tobacco products, which is a step towards improving environmental management and municipal waste management.
